Death
Just a thought....
....when wounded and cornered and about to meet their death, [they] will turn and beg for their lives. They beg with precisely the sort of expressive postures and gestures (a hunched bow, outstretched arms, pleading facial expression) that hunters see among beggars in the city.
The above quote made an impact on me, and I wanted to share this with others. This was taken from "Eating Apes" by Dale Peterson and Karl Ammann, in reference to when a poacher shoots at a wild chimpanzee and wounds him or her.
